The Visitors’ Center offers free tours led by helpful missionary guides. They are volunteers who come from all over the world to serve you and your loved ones. They collectively speak many different languages, so please ask if you have a language preference — they will do their best to accommodate you. These missionaries are expert guides who will help you have a personalized and meaningful experience at the São Paulo Brazil Temple Visitors’ Center.

They are open to the public and offer access to exclusive genealogical records and complimentary access to technology. You can find Church materials and clothing at the Distribution Center located on the temple grounds. There is a selection of Bibles, copies of the Book of Mormon, and Triple Combinations. We also carry hymn books, “Come Follow Me” and self-reliance manuals, children’s storybooks, Church magazines, pictures, and more.

The São Paulo Brazil Temple is considered a literal house of the Lord by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The principal purpose of the temple is to provide ordinances and blessings to members in Southern Brazil. Ordinances include endowment, marriage, and baptism.
Only members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with an active temple recommend are allowed to enter the inside of the São Paulo Brazil Temple.
